Learning & research

Go from an idea to an informed next step.

Build a small evidence base, find the gaps, and decide what to investigate next.

What you’ll work toward

A one-page research brief with sources and open questions.

Explore Gemini Notebook as a starting tool ↗

Take it step by step

  1. Choose one specific question and collect three to five relevant primary sources.
  2. Add your sources and request a summary that separates evidence from assumptions.
  3. Open every supporting passage. Note contradictions and write the next question you need to answer.

A prompt to make your own

Using only these sources, write a brief on my question. Separate supported findings, conflicting evidence, and unanswered questions. Cite the supporting passages for each finding. Do not fill gaps with guesses.

Know when you’ve made progress

Does each conclusion have supporting evidence, and do you know what remains uncertain?

Reflect on the time you invested

Learning has value even when it takes longer. If saving time was your goal, include setup and corrections in your estimate.
