Disclosure
Affiliate and advertising disclosure, and how it does not affect rankings.
Data checked 2026-09-06Seminal AI is free to read and is funded in part by affiliate commissions and advertising. This page states plainly how that works.
Affiliate links
Some outbound links on this site are affiliate links. If you follow one and sign up or purchase, we may earn a commission. This costs you nothing — the price you pay is the same as it would be reaching the vendor directly.
Affiliate links are visibly marked wherever they appear. An unmarked outbound link is a plain link with no commercial relationship attached.
What affiliate relationships do not affect
An affiliate relationship has no bearing on:
- Whether a service is listed. Inclusion follows the criteria on the submission page. Vendors with no affiliate programme are listed on exactly the same terms as vendors with one.
- How a service is ranked. Ordering is determined by the stated objective criteria for that page — price, context window, blended cost, or whatever that page declares — and by nothing else.
- How a service is assessed. Limitations, gaps in documentation and unfavourable pricing are recorded the same way regardless of commercial relationship.
There is no pay-for-placement on this site. A vendor cannot buy an entry, a position, or a better write-up. If a vendor asks, the answer is no, and the request does not change their entry either way.
Which links are never affiliate links
Only "go to this product" links are ever monetised. Evidence links never are. The source citation under a figure, a provider's documentation link, and a pricing-page link all point at the original vendor page, unmodified and uncommissioned.
This is enforced in the site generator rather than left to editorial discipline: the code that substitutes affiliate URLs only ever touches a product link, and cannot reach a citation. If you click a source link to check a price we have published, you reach the vendor's page directly — which is the entire point of citing it.
Advertising
Advertising slots may appear on some pages. Where they do, they are clearly separated from editorial content and labelled as advertising. Advertisers have no input into editorial content, data, rankings or assessments, and no advance sight of them.
Reporting a biased listing
If you believe an entry, a ranking or an assessment on this site has been influenced by a commercial relationship, tell us. Email info@seminal.ai with the page URL and what looks wrong. We will re-check the entry against its vendor source and correct or explain it. Substantive corrections are made on the page itself, not quietly.
